Advanced Leadership Development Intensive

Expand your skills as a leadership development practitioner with our advanced training in Case-in-Point, one of a few such programs offered anywhere in the world. A pillar of the Adaptive Leadership framework developed at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, Case-in-Point is an experiential method in which facilitators use a group as a case study in the practice of leadership. Because participants and facilitator use real-time interactions – what’s happening in the moment – to create the learning experience together, Case-in-Point strengthens understanding of group dynamics, sharpens assessment of challenges, and builds leadership skills for practitioner and learner alike.

Our five-day program offers a rare opportunity to learn how to incorporate this transformative technique in your teaching, training or consulting. You’ll connect with leadership development professionals from around the world and find a strong support system of Harvard-trained master-practitioners, including Tim Steffensmeier, Jill Hufnagel, and Lynette Lacy. KLC’s Advanced Leadership Development Intensive gives you the training and assistance you need to make full use of this singular tool for leadership education and practice.

Marty Linsky, co-founder of Cambridge Leadership Associates and co-author with Heifetz of the best-selling book, Leadership on the Line, highly recommends this program. “KLC is the perfect place to perfect – and certify – your Case-in-Point delivery skills. Using the class as a case is a challenging and powerful method of enhancing people’s leadership capacity . . . and for me at least, doing it well is a life-long learning journey.”
