The Kansas Leadership Center, located in Wichita, KS, is a non-profit organization founded in 2007 dedicated to improving the civic culture in Kansas through innovative leadership education. KLC believes that with enhanced leadership skills, Kansans from all walks of life can exercise leadership to the benefit of their organizations, communities, neighborhoods, schools and professions.

The Kansas Leadership Center is looking for individuals with education or experience in business, business development or project management. The applicant should be a self-starter who is open to an innovative work environment but also be able to successfully implement direction from supervisor and other team members.

Director of Business Development

This opportunity is for an individual with business development skill who is self-motivated, a positive “go-getter” and who wants to be a part of a dynamic, mission oriented culture. This person needs to be inspired by KLC’s effort to transform the culture of Kansas, so that Kansas organizations, companies and communities thrive.  We don’t coast or shy away from taking initiative.  We do work hard, have fun and make an impact. Ten years of experience in business development related work is required.

KLC Intern

The KLC believes the best way to develop leadership is to practice leadership. This internship experience allows interns to practice and refine their leadership skills in a workplace environment that will help prepare them for their careers.
