Erik Larson in Conversation with Ed O'Malley

Join us for a conversation on leadership and resilience in times of crisis with New York Times best-selling author Erik Larson and Ed O’Malley, president and CEO of the Kansas Leadership Center. Larson’s latest book is The Splendid and the Vile, an intimate chronicle of how Winston Churchill and his inner circle survived the bombing of London in World War II while rallying the British nation in its darkest hour. Together, O’Malley and Larson will explore how the book offers examples of the kind of leadership we need more in our communities today. After the interview, attendees will continue the discussion in small groups to apply the conversation to their own lives and challenges. It’s a special opportunity for both leadership programs and the interested public to draw inspiration from a celebrated leadership triumph of the 20th century.
