Our cast of internationally known speakers and local practitioners from a variety of sectors will set the stage for your learning. You will also have the opportunity to apply what you’ve learned with others through breakout sessions and informal networking time.

This three-day event, June 21-23, 2018, in Wichita, KS, features:

• Discussions to help you integrate KLC leadership ideas in your teaching, coaching, consulting and training.
• Tracks and sessions for leadership coaches, community leadership program facilitators, college professors, consultants and researchers.
• Opportunities for small group discussion, networking, socializing and building connections in your field.

Diverse topics covered at the conference will include:

  • Teaching leadership when there’s only one person of color in the room (who may or may not be you).
  • Creating a culture of coaching in organizations.
  • Teaching leadership to people in poverty.
  • Researching leadership development programs.
  • Preparing people to exercise effective leadership from a position of authority.
