Biography:
Teresa Schwab is a member of the KLC Coach Team and President of Arnavon Strategies, an independent firm offering customized leadership development and individual, team and group coaching. A trainer, facilitator and coach, Teresa has spent over 20 years working for and with organizations with budgets ranging from $50,000 up to $50 million. Teresa utilizes a wide variety of facilitation and training methods to help clients define and achieve their aspirations. Most notably, she offers highly challenging and experiential opportunities that encourage individuals and systems to stretch to their growth edge to increase capacity and support transformation.
Teresa holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas, is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation and holds a Community and Civic Leadership Coach Certificate through the Kansas Leadership Center (KLC). She is an instructor with the University of Kansas Public Management Center. Teresa grew up in rural Western Kansas. In 1995, she and her husband sold everything they owned to join the Peace Corps, moving to the South Pacific country of the Solomon Islands to do rural community development work. She and her husband now reside in Lawrence with their three sons.
