Leadership Teaching Proficiencies

KLC’s set of 11 proficiencies provide structure for evaluating, training and supporting your front-of-the room team. Comes with an assessment and feedback form.

It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what it takes to be a best-of-the-best leadership developer. Yet, institutions like ours need a clearly defined growth path to develop the people most responsible for the success of our leadership development programs.

Through observation, discussion and field testing, KLC has identified a set of 11 proficiencies in two categories (Classroom and Teamwork/Development) which we use to structure feedback, training and support for our teachers.

This four-page rubric and accompanying assessment form are designed to help you give high quality feedback, make dependable judgments about the quality of your team members’ work and create targeted plans for their development. Use it to ensure performance evaluation that is strengths-based, developmental, fair, consistent and reliable.
