KLC Announces CEO Transition and National Search
After an impactful tenure, Dr. Kaye Monk-Morgan is no longer serving as president and CEO of the Kansas Leadership Center.
Among her many accomplishments as president and CEO, Monk-Morgan led record-breaking organizational growth that helped drive exponential impact, grounded in the belief that anyone can lead, anywhere, anytime. Kaye’s outstanding work contributed to a leadership framework that is used by organizations across Kansas, all 50 states and more than 70 countries, helping people from every walk of life learn how to mobilize others to make progress on difficult challenges.
“On behalf of our entire board, I want to express our appreciation for the leadership Kaye provided in growing our programs, reaching more people, and advancing the common good in communities near and far,” said Pete Nájera, board chair of the Kansas Leadership Center. “We are grateful for her many contributions to the field of adaptive leadership and wish her nothing but success in her future endeavors.”
KLC’s mission and work continue. The organization remains focused on inspiring and equipping people, together, to do difficult things for the common good. Its programs, partnerships, journalism, research and commitments continue.
In the interim, Amy Williams, chief growth officer, will manage the daily operations of the organization to maintain business continuity and ensure a seamless and well-coordinated transition for the next CEO.
The Kansas Leadership Center board of directors will soon begin a national search for KLC’s next president and CEO and will share additional information as the process gets underway.
