The Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Manhattan, Kansas plans to improve the customer shopping experience both online and in-store. This plan includes enhancing the website for better online shopping, passing out branded PPE masks for customers and employees, as well as modifying the store layout to streamline traffic flow and make it easier for customers to adhere to COVID-19 protocols.

- Emporia Public Library: Encourage families to stay home by creating “Family Grab and Go Kits” with supplies like food coupons, board games, cards and covid informational sheets.
- Kansas City Kansas Community College Campus Wonderland Team: Provide Walmart gift cards for 36 families of KCKCC students to reduce the financial burden of purchasing supplies needed to stay safe, healthy and clean.
- GLSEN Kansas: To overcome the feeling of being “oppressed” when asked to wear a mask, GLSEN in Wichita will pass out gift cards along with educational materials to passersby who are wearing a mask.
- Leadership Reno County: Display signage around Reno county raising awareness of mental health issues due to the pandemic.
- Kansas Conference of the NAACP: Hand out masks and educational messaging about the importance of wearing masks to Wichita residents.
- North Central Kansas Tech Dept Chair: Install water bottle filling stations around the NCK Tech Beloit campus.
