Lori Larsh | Director of Finance
As director of finance at the Kansas Leadership Center, Lori Larsh oversees the organization’s day-to-day financial operations and partners closely with colleagues to provide insights that support smart, confident decision-making.
Lori is inspired by KLC’s belief that leadership is for everyone. Rather than being defined by a title, she sees leadership as an activity that anyone can practice and get better at. Supporting an organization dedicated to helping people build their capacity to exercise leadership is work she finds both meaningful and rewarding.
Lori brings a diverse financial background spanning nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Her experience includes auditing organizations, preparing financial statement compilations and helping clients improve financial reporting. Before joining KLC, Lori spent 15 years as controller of a rural telecommunications company, where she managed long-term budgets, cash management for multimillion-dollar capital projects, annual financial audits, debt payments and reporting, and state and federal regulatory filings.
Lori grew up in Haviland, Kansas, after moving there with her family from Wichita at a young age. She graduated from Haviland High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Biola University and later completed her MBA at the University of the Cumberlands.
Outside of work, Lori enjoys performing on stage with a local college theater department, riding bikes, walking the dog and serving her church community through its women’s Bible study ministry. She and her husband, Steve, have been married for nearly four decades and have four children and 6 grandchildren.
