Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, Program Associate Diego Cortez Rios brings to the Kansas Leadership Center a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to community service. Diego attended Northern Illinois University and is currently pursuing a degree in business administration at Butler Community College. His educational journey reflects his dedication to personal growth and leadership development. His path also includes a remarkable four-year stint in the Air Force, where he acquired invaluable leadership skills and a profound understanding of what it means to serve his country and community.

As a proud Mexican American with a loving family, Diego embodies the values of hard work, dedication, and a strong sense of responsibility. Diego’s decision to join KLC stems from a shared vision and common goals. He is passionate about the art and practice of leadership and eagerly looks forward to bringing his vision and unwavering work ethic to our community.
