Brittany Crabtree | Coach
Brittany Stiffler Crabtree has a passion for helping people connect and communicate with one another. She’s worked to increase youth empowerment, local support of the arts, quality of care for elders, and multi-generational volunteerism. She began her career in public service by joining AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps and served over 1800 hours in Washington DC, Ohio, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
Since then, she has served at the local, state and federal levels to promote public service and civic engagement through the Kansas Leadership Center, the Kansas Volunteer Commission and the Corporation for National and Community Service. She is a proud Kansan and has served in various roles under four Kansas Governors: Kathleen Sebelius, Mark Parkinson, Sam Brownback and Laura Kelly.
Brittany currently serves as the Director of Communications and Special Projects for Topeka Collegiate, an independent school in Topeka, Kansas whose mission is to “inspire and prepare every student for a successful future through academic excellence, active citizenship, and humanitarian ideals.”
Brittany is an alum of the Kansas Leadership Center Civic Leadership Training and previously partnered with KLC to launch a Leadership Hikes pilot at the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve. As a coach, Brittany is committed to courageous and creative thinking to increase the culture of leadership in Kansas.
When she’s not community building, Brittany loves to hike alongside her husband Chris, their beagle Perry – and now with a toddler in tow! If you’d like to take your coaching experience to the trail, let her know.
