Instructions for Kansas Tax Exempt Organizations
Email a copy of your Sales and Use Tax Entity Exemption Certificate to [email protected]. We will set up an account for you with your email. We will let you know this has happened with a confirmation email from our office with your new account password. When you go to checkout in the KLC Store, you will see a message “Returning Customer? Click here to log in.” Click to open, then fill in the two blanks (your email and password we send). Then click ‘remember me.’ Organizations outside of Kansas are not charged sales tax.

These worksheets serve as material and inspiration for four or more hours of work on the leadership competency Energize Others.
Energize Others is about more than motivation. Energize Others means engaging all the stakeholders – we call them “factions” – those with influence and those unlikely to have their voices heard. Success comes when all parties are engaged and working toward a collective purpose.
This package contains two downloadable worksheets and permission to make unlimited copies for use in your classroom and team meetings. Each worksheet supports application of a key leadership behavior, with space and clear direction for reflection based in the competency Energize Others.
Use these worksheets along with pages 104-145 in Your Leadership Edge and the KLC video Energize By Starting With Them.
Worksheets in this package are:
- Create a Trustworthy Process. Energizing others is not about gaining a majority. It’s about engaging enough people across different factions in a trustworthy process. This worksheet provides space to honestly assess engagement of all the key stakeholders.
- Faction Map. Have students fill out their own faction map or create one as a team for a shared challenge. Decide which two or three factions to focus on first. This is the perfect prelude for a session on Intervene Skillfully.
