Roadmap for Creating Leadership Together

Schedule of Activities:

2021

• July: Welcome to partner organizations and orientation to the work outlined over the next 18 months (2 hours; required)
• July-November: Core team optional participation in Your Leadership Edge, Avanzando Juntos, Lead for Change or Equip to Lead. (Consult KLC calendar)
• August: Begin 1 of 5 mentoring conversations with an experienced CLP director (required)
• September: Creating Leadership Together Workshop (topics relate to founding a leadership program, including facilitation training, curriculum development, board development, fundraising and recruitment) (required)
• October: Mentor conversation #2 (required)
• December: Mentor conversation #3 (required)

2022

• January-December: Continue optional KLC Path programming (need is determined by core team members for each partner organization)
• February: Mentor conversation #4 (required)
• First Quarter: Recruit first class (required)
• Second and Third Quarters: Your program dates (including class participation in Your Leadership Edge or Avanzando Juntos from April-September) (expected)
• June: Mentor conversation #5 (required)
• October: Creating Leadership Together: Debriefing the Experience & Fine Tuning for 2023 (required)
