Amy Williams named chief business development officer
for the Kansas Leadership Center
Wichita, Kan. – The Kansas Leadership Center (KLC) has hired Amy Williams as its chief business development officer.

KLC is a non-profit organization with a bold mission to transform civic life in Kansas and beyond by creating a culture where everyday people exercise leadership and engage others to make progress on their toughest challenges. In this executive-level position, Williams will serve as a member of the support team and work closely across departments to lead KLC’s efforts in business development, strategic marketing and revenue generation.

Amy brings a wealth of experience in corporate environments, leading teams and providing strategic direction for business initiatives, and we’re confident she’ll play a key role in helping us expand our reach, impact and sustainability,” said Kaye Monk-Morgan, president and CEO of the Kansas Leadership Center.

Williams most recently worked at Spirit Aerosystems where she spent the last four years as executive director – global community relations, culture and DE&I. With extensive experience in the aerospace, retail and agriculture industries, she excels in designing and executing global Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and DE&I strategies that deliver measurable impact. Recognized for her relationship-building skills and operational insight, Williams drives cross-functional collaboration to develop innovative, people-centered solutions to complex organizational challenges. A committed civic leader, she actively contributes to initiatives in the Wichita community and is a current board member for the Wichita Foundation, Wichita Public Library Foundation and Via Christi Foundation. Williams holds an MBA from Newman University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wichita State University.
Williams’ first day at KLC is May 12, 2025.
