Kenny A. Wilk | Associate
Kenny Wilk is the vice president of governmental and community affairs at The University of Kansas Health System, overseeing federal, state, and local governmental affairs, as well as community relations and outreach services.
Kenny lives in Basehor, Kansas, with his wife, Darlene, and their son, William. He served as a member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing the 42nd District for sixteen years from 1993 to 2009. During his tenure, he chaired numerous committees, including the House Appropriations and Tax Committees. In 2011, Governor Brownback appointed him to the Kansas Board of Regents, where he served a four-year term and chaired the board during the 2015 fiscal year.
In 2009, Kenny retired from Hallmark Cards, Inc., after a 31-year career in various roles within the Operations Division.
Kenny also serves as a board director for First State Bank & Trust in Tonganoxie, Kansas. Kenny holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ottawa University in Kansas City.
