Dani Gains | Journal Manager

Dani Gains oversees and coordinates The Journal‘s various initiatives, offerings, and events. She is excited to help Kansans understand the complexities of civics and what it looks like to practically engage in bettering our communities, and she is looking forward to advancing The Journal‘s use as curriculum to elevate the magazine’s reach and impact.

With a background spanning education, nonprofit, and edtech spaces, Dani’s professional journey has been rooted in curriculum and instruction, learning and program design, and business administration. Though not native to Kansas, she has wholeheartedly embraced Wichita as her home and is deeply invested in contributing to its growth and development both personally and professionally.

Outside of work, Dani enjoys long-distance running, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
