Space to Talk: Topics, Tools and Practice for Public Officials
Leadership in Public Service
Thursday, April 21 | 12:00 – 1:00 PM
An overburdened mental health system in Kansas has direct implications on public officials like you. We’ll talk about local challenges and leadership opportunities related to this issue by referencing a recent article from our nationally recognized civic issues magazine.
President & CEO Ed O’Malley will be joined by Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt to talk about efforts in his office to help public officials at the local level make progress on this adaptive challenge.
Space to Talk is a series of quarterly virtual discussions created for public officials, by former public officials. If you are a current, past or aspiring elected or appointed official, this conversation is for you. Learn more about KLC’s efforts to support civic officials through the Leadership in Public Service initiative.
Please register to receive the Zoom information the morning of the event and share the opportunity with fellow elected and appointed colleagues.
