Kansas Leadership Center Announces Changes to Executive Team
Dioane Gates hired as Chief Civic Leadership Officer,
Julia Fabris McBride transitions to Chief Learning and Development Officer
Wichita, Kan. – The Kansas Leadership Center (KLC) announced today that Dioane Gates has been named the nonprofit organization’s Chief Civic Leadership Officer (CCLO). After serving as part of KLC’s teaching team since 2019, Gates is succeeding Julia Fabris McBride who has transitioned to a new role at KLC.
“We are excited to announce staffing changes that will position our colleagues to thrive and KLC to continue its momentum,” said Kaye Monk-Morgan, president and CEO of KLC. “Julia is now KLC’s Chief Learning and Development Officer, a title that more accurately reflects her area of focus evolving our world-class curriculum. We’re also thrilled to add Dioane to the team full-time as KLC’s new Chief Civic Leadership Officer. He has a deep knowledge of the KLC framework, strong front-of-the-room teaching and facilitation abilities, and is deeply passionate about improving communities.”

As Chief Civic Leadership Officer, Gates is responsible for overseeing KLC’s Civic Leadership unit, including leadership development programming, civic engagement and communities of practice strategies.
