Alejandro Arias-Esparza | Custom Civic Engagement Manager
As custom civic engagement manager, Alejandro Arias-Esparza contributes to the growing number of KLC custom civic engagement projects around Kansas and other states. Most recently, Alejandro helped manage and bring to a conclusion the Kansas Beats the Virus initiative; a project designed to help remove barriers, and energize communities to tackle COVID-19 through local initiatives.
Alejandro has always had a passion for public service and previously worked with both non-profits and in local government most recently as the environmental management analyst for the City of Wichita.
He is a Kansas transplant, having been born in Aguascalientes, Mexico. He attended Wichita High School East and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in sociology from Wichita State University and plans to continue his education in the near future.
Alejandro enjoys being involved in civic life and is a part of different young professional groups in Wichita. During his free time, he enjoys working out, long walks, and hanging out with his family and friends.
