Kevin Bomhoff | Teacher

Kevin’s passion for leadership development comes from over 15 years developing and using Kansas Leadership Center tools and skills. Whether working with partners across the globe to establish a successful KLC Custom Programs business approach or building a successful university-based consulting and training center, Kevin uses what he teaches. “The energy for this work comes from knowing that what we teach works… to seize opportunities and make progress with real-world challenges I encounter and help others face.”

A founding member of KLC’s core teaching team, Kevin has traveled to businesses across the country and around the world, including India, Israel, Silicon Valley, and of course… his beloved Kansas! His virtual teaching experience includes engagements with partners in global time zone. Kevin’s background includes training and coaching with businesses; facilitating strategic planning with nonprofits, governments, coalitions, and hospitals; and providing technical assistance to communities developing healthy living policies and practices.

He is a Licensed Master’s Social Worker and Kansas Health Foundation Fellow who completed the Art and Practice of Leadership Development at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and Executive Transition Training and Mentorship with Transitions Guides-Raffa, PC. Kevin has been recognized for his leadership by national volunteer programs, the University of Kansas, and advocacy groups.

Kevin is a life-long outdoor adventurer with a passion for gravel and road cycling, hiking, camping, fishing, mountain climbing and snowboarding. His greatest joy is in the rewards of life as husband, father of two successfully launched kids and their wonderful spouses, and his cherished role as “Pops” to grandson Jamie.
