Amanda Cebula | Associate

Amanda works to develop partnerships with people, organizations and businesses seeking to create change. She has been connected to leadership development throughout most of her life. Whether she was getting her neighborhood to sign a petition to move the school bus stop as a child or supporting community change efforts as an adult, she is passionate about progress being made in our communities. This innate desire to be part of change drew her to the work of KLC in 2012, when she participated in the Art & Practice of Leadership Development and was hired full-time to serve as a Program Associate for the Kansas Health Foundation Fellows program. Eventually, she would become the Director of Business Development for KLC, co-author “Your Leadership Edge: Tools and Strategies for When Everyone Leads” with Ed O’Malley, and spearhead the creation of www.yourleadershipedge.com.

After leaving her full-time role at KLC in 2017, Amanda continued her work in leadership development by serving as an Instructor with the Staley School of Leadership at Kansas State University. Today, you can find her raising her family amidst running her own consulting company, teaching the occasional leadership course, facilitating programs, and participating in various church and community activities. Amanda is a Communication Studies graduate from Kansas State University with minors in Music and Leadership Studies. She also earned a master’s degree in Management & Leadership from Webster University.

Amanda is passionate about helping others work together to advance the goals they hope to achieve. Aside from this passion, Amanda loves music! She is always looking for ways to stay connected musically whether that be teaching the occasional piano lesson, finding a choir to sing with, dancing around the kitchen with her kids or playing the piano as a means to take care of herself. Amanda also loves to read and spend time with family, especially her husband and three young children.
